Zambia, Africa Safari Painting and Photographic Workshop

Join Michelle Dunaway on this exclusive 7 night/ 8  Day Painting and Photographic Safari experience in the heart of Africa !  Michelle is partnering with Everseen Africa, one of the premier guiding and tour companies in Africa to bring you this unique artistic experience .

Described by many explorers as “Heaven on Earth”, Zambia, and more precisely the Lower Zambezi, remains one of Africa’s hidden gems —  wild, untouched, and quietly spectacular. Safaris in this region happen both on land and by water, offering a rare dual perspective.

We will stay in a fabulous luxury camp , enjoy gourmet meals, and  journey out daily on safari with photographic guidance from pro photographer and experienced African wildlife guide Charles Van Staden, owner of Everseen Africa. If you are a photographer wanting instruction while on safari, Charles will guide you with camera settings as you take your own photos. If you simply want to enjoy the experience using your phone camera, photographic knowledge and skill is not necessary. Each participant will receive a catalog of photographs taken by Charles  while on this adventure to document the trip and artists may also use these photos for future painting reference.

There will be daily painting sessions from local models  with professional artist Michelle Dunaway, both portraiture and figure in the landscape. Michelle will demonstrate her techniques and provide one on one instruction; guiding students not only in their field studies from life, but also offering advice on future studio paintings from reference gathered on this trip.
