 Americans in Paris (AIP)  began with a purpose to inspire contemporary American artists to travel to Paris and discover exciting ideas for their works of art in a place where historically so many important artists had found inspiration and formed connections.

Founded by Vanessa Rothe owner of  VRFA Gallery in CA , the twelve AIP artists were selected to travel to Paris and paint together, filling their sketchbooks and minds with ideas and returning home to create works based on their experiences. VRFA Gallery has teamed with two top galleries to present a Bi continental exhibition of the selected artists' creations. The first of these exhibitions is held at Arcadia Contemporary in Los Angeles, CA, April 2018 and the second will be at Galerie Prince de L’Oeil in Paris, France, May 2018.
